Passion: Writing, volunteering and community service. Interested in human rights and social justice.
What best represents your style? Expressive and powerful. I wear a lot of feminist pins. I wear a lot of things that express a more powerful entity and personality, just because I think it’s important not to be silenced.
What does equality mean to you? To me, gender equality means mainly respect and understanding. I see so many different micro-aggressions every day and so much inequality and how it affects my life and the lives of the people that I love. So the cause is very important to me.
What’s something you disagree with in the fashion industry? Outsourcing and how it affects sweatshops and that’s very important to me. I want to make sure that the clothes that I buy are environmentally friendly and sustainable, and what I’m buying isn’t just profiting the CEO’s of these companies, but also the people that are actually making them.
Why ROUND + SQUARE? It relates to feminism and human rights, and it’s something I’m very passionate about. It also displays a diverse representation of people, which is also important to me.
