Interests: Play tennis.
Who’s someone you look up to? Serena Williams - not only as a tennis person, but also as someone who’s really strong. She overcame a lot of challenges, appearance-wise and athletic-wise.
What best describes your style? I don’t think I have one general style. I guess strong is the word. It’s a big part of me, because I do like to take charge of things.
What does equality mean to you? Everyone having equal opportunities. Especially because I’m an African American and I’m a woman. Equality is something that I think about a lot. It’s a very big concept to grasp.
Do you care about the clothes you wear and where they come from? I do. I think I mostly care about quality.
What made you interested in ROUND + SQUARE? I feel like because as a kid right now with everything that’s going on, I don’t think I speak out as much on social issues, and I think this was a good opportunity to be a part of something that’s going to have a bigger voice in this entire issue.
