February is also Black History Month, and for me, the notion of "Equal Power" stands for how us humans are all equal regardless of skin color, gender, nationality, beliefs and social status. This is my favorite bandana at the moment, and I wear it all the time (just so you know, I don't normally wear pink!) This particular pink is bright and it cheers me up. As a designer, color is one of my specialties. This is a very unique and powerful shade of pink. It works well all skin tones and ages - you'd be surprised! 3. Aquarelle Paisley Silk Shawl in Pink

I designed this piece in homage to Yasmeen Hassan and her team at Equality Now. Their work inspires me, and I wanted to design something meaningful, with a lot of research and study behind the process. Of course, all while bringing joy to the women that would wear it! Created by hand using a mix of different techniques, we wanted this design to translate the feeling that this silk shawl traveled through all cultures around the world. It took us three weeks of intense work until the design was just perfect and I was happy with the result. The Aquarelle Paisley Shawl is a true piece of art that includes a subtle, yet powerful message of gender equality and women empowerment.

4. Dream Big Statement Pin

We should all just believe in LOVE and in dreaming big with our loved ones. Everyone, especially us women, need to look beyond horizons and limitations. "Dream Big" also stands for making our dreams come true, such as gender equality being a reality for every woman and girl in this planet. This Statement Pin is so delicate and well done! It was ethically produced in an embroidery manufacture in India. It's a place I trust and worked with for many years, and they did a wonderful job on getting every statement pin perfectly made.
